I (21F) dreamt that I was admitted into a dragon college. To get into this collage you had to go single file up a Cliffside and once you were at the top a second /third year student would welcome you and look into your mind to see if you were good enough. If you weren't good enough they would give you a beautiful flower and you would die. There was one student that sendt flowers down the Cliffside and anyone who was foolish enough to grab one would die. I found 3 friends that day and we were inseparable. I also started talking to a second year who had long blond hair, muscular build and he was stunning to look at. I thought I could never have him as more than a friend since I was a small town, short, curvy and funny girl. The school year went by, I got a hold of my powers pretty quickly and got bonded to a large black dragon. Lance the unattainable second year had a large white dragon. One day me and my 3 friends went to the ball hosted on the last day of school. There was a strange energy. it was the day where the veil between the living and dead were the weakest. We went to check it out, 1 of my friends was a princess, she led us to the tunnel system under the school. I felt a pull of energy. We took a boat and followed that pull into a large chamber, I realized that the water was the veil between the living and dead. Someone had followed us and made a maelstrom in the water. We were sucked into it, but that person who followed us went in and we never saw her again. I used my power to hold our boat steady as I yelled at my friends to check for a bottom with their ores. It was shallow. My friends using their power took planks from the shelves that were along the walls and created stilts for the boat. I moved the boat with my powers onto the stilts and it worked. We were stuck on the stilts.1 of my friends yelled saying that we should turn the maelstrom off, but when we looked into the water all the souls trapped in the water were disappearing. I said "wait, mabey this is they're chance to get out of limbo". Soon enough all the souls were gone and the water stilled. I heard sloshing. It was Lance, he looked right at me and started to row as fast as he could. He jumped out of the boat saying "I've been looking everywhere for you!" He picked me up and spun me around "don't you ever dissappear like that again, I was worried" he pulled me in close and kissed me. We went to the ball hand in hand. Then I was on the Cliffside again as a second year checking minds
Dream interpretation can vary widely based on personal experiences, emotions, and cultural contexts. However, here are some themes and meanings that emerge from your dream: 1. **Transformation and Growth**: Being in a dragon college suggests a journey of personal development and the cultivation of your own “powers.” Dragons are often symbols of strength, wisdom, and transformation. This could reflect your aspirations or current changes in your life, particularly as you navigate early adulthood. 2. **Friendship and Support**: The bonds you formed with your three friends emphasize the importance of companionship and support systems in your life. This can signify a desire for deeper connections or reassurance that you’re not alone in your endeavors. 3. **Self-Perception and Insecurities**: The contrast between your feelings about yourself (small town, short, curvy) and your affection for Lance (the unattainable second year) points to underlying insecurities or feelings of inadequacy. It suggests a struggle with self-esteem and the fear of not being “good enough” in romantic or social contexts. 4. **Navigating Challenges**: The maelstrom and the need for teamwork to overcome it symbolize facing chaotic or difficult situations in life. The way you and your friends come together to create stilts indicates resourcefulness and the importance of collaboration in overcoming obstacles. 5. **Bridging Life and Death**: The tunnel system and the water as a veil between the living and the dead may reflect a subconscious exploration of fear, mortality, or the unknown. It could also represent significant transitions or the need to reconcile past experiences (perhaps unresolved feelings or memories) that you’re processing. 6. **Empowerment and Responsibility**: In the end, when you find your strength to help guide the souls and ensure their escape, it suggests a sense of empowerment and responsibility for those around you. This could signal your burgeoning awareness of your abilities to affect positive change, both for yourself and others. 7. **Romantic Aspirations**: The romantic culmination with Lance symbolizes a desire for connection and validation. His worry over your disappearance and the tender moment you share indicate a longing for deep, affectionate relationships and perhaps even the fantasy of being seen and cherished for who you are. 8. **Completion of a Cycle**: Returning to the Cliffside as a second-year student may indicate a full-circle moment, suggesting that you have grown and learned from your experiences. It could reflect your readiness to face new challenges with the knowledge you’ve gained. In conclusion, your dream highlights the complexities of relationships, self-identity, trust, transformation, and the balance between facing challenges and embracing personal power. Reflect on how these themes resonate in your current life, as they may provide insight into your thoughts and feelings!
